Espelir, hatching in Occitan, was born from a meeting between the ceramicist Léa Caïe and the creator of Creature Marseille Pauline Paranthoën. It was by drawing inspiration from Léa's Toyos and Pauline's drawings that the idea of an organic and abundant piece germinated.
Espelir is a pot for plants made of earthenware. Placed on an independent foot, the central element uses the continuous irrigation technique thanks to a system of reservoir, pipes and small “chimneys”.
The Espelir pot is handmade to order by Léa and Pauline.

Manufacturing
It is in Léa's workshop in the 7th arrondissement of Marseille that the two designers make the pots.
